Crossfaith: Already a favourite on the UK touring scene due to their high octane live show, Crossfaith's Japanese metalcore meets electronica has seen them destroy the main stage at Download Festival and on the Kerrang tour with Limp Bizkit. static.gigwise.com/gallery/3251719_crossfaithjap.jpg
Dazzle Vision: If you found Babymetal a little freaky, you'll be scared shitless by Dazzle Vision. Female vocalist Maiko ranges from melodic J-Pop to unbelievable death metal growls. static.gigwise.com/gallery/2278428_dazzlevision.jpg
Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas: Catchy as hell! With ferocious screams, breakdowns and keyboard solos in just the right places, the japanese dance metal band have all the makings to be huge. static.gigwise.com/gallery/6271711_fearandloathing.jpg
Man With a Mission: Yep, they dress as wolves. And nope, they never take them off. Their alternative take on Nu-metal makes us wonder whether it's Linkin Park hiding under those masks. static.gigwise.com/gallery/9391845_man with a mission.jpg
Maximum The Hormone: Probably the most ridiculous band to ever come out of the Japanese metal scene. The band have enjoyed worldwide success with their biz

Sand: The Japanese hardcore band are unintentionally hilarious. With their badly translated English and Warriors themed clothing, the band won't be competing with Madball any time soon, but with an Upcoming US tour there's certainly some love for Sand. http://static.gigwise.com/gallery/4580689_sand.jpg
Doll$Boxx - Probably the most colourful J-pop meets metal band. The kawaii group prove that looks can be deceiving as they don't hold back on going all out bonkers with their Japanese metal anthems. https://static.gigwise.com/gallery/3000495_dollboxjap.jpg
My First Story: With millions of YouTube views, a knack for a decent chorus and a mainstream take on metal, My First Story have a huge career ahead of them. http://static.gigwise.com/gallery/2786140_MY_FIRST_STORY.jpg
Totalfat - Going down the more punk/speed metal root, Totalfat are Japan's answer to NOFX with added melody. We can only presume they're singing about skateboarding, getting wasted and eating pizza. http://static.gigwise.com/gallery/9383217_totalfat.jpg
Babymetal: Slowly but surely taking over the entire world with their j-pop meets metal sound, Babymetal have scored millions of YouTube views, a triumphant performance at Sonisphere Festival 2014, Brixton Academy and a surprise appearance with Dragonforce at Download - not to mention a a tour with Lady GaGa. Don't let the young faces put you off, their live performances have to be seen to be believed. You will be converted. Miss them at Reading & Leeds at your peril. http://static.gigwise.com/gallery/6126427_6938671_babymetaljap.jpg []

Babymetal You know them, you love them. Metal has never been cuter. MVリンク切れ
Maximum the Hormone As if this band's manic mix of thrash, grind, doom, and nu-metal styles weren't insane enough, watch this video--and keep watching the video. When it switches from high-energy performance footage to multi-headed high-energy performance footage, things truly get unhinged. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdwT5JlH8gM
Man with a Mission This group's music is poppy nu-metal lite--nothing too off the wall there. But in some ways, Man with a Mission's accessible, unoffensive sound makes their decision to wear wolf masks at all times seem even more demented. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjef-vaqRTs
Sigh Musically, long-running extremists Sigh have always pushed boundaries, mashing together black metal with psychedelic rock, jazz, classical music, and horror-movie soundtracks. But what takes the group to another level is the female half of its vocal duo: Dr. Mikannibal, a Physics PhD-certified, saxophone-wielding siren with a penchant for little clothes and lots of blood. Not to mention fire-breathing and eating bugs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZS23I12OFzs
Sand Ever wonder what would happen if the baseball gang from The Warriors decided to form a tough-guy hardcore band, but also if they were Japanese and had very bad English skills? Neither had we, but now we know the answer. As for the band's name, Sand, we can only assume that it's an oblique reference to The Warrior's beach-side Coney Island location. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLv-7RLzX5I
Swarrrm Active since the mid '90s, Swarrrm are ostensibly a grindcore outfit but play grind like you've probably never heard before, taking sharp left turns into indie rock, noise, and even pop. Their penchant for confrontational live performances and mind-melting psychedelic videos only encourage the sense that this is a band made up of truly insane individuals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OliglJswpEE
ByJCon 24 January 2017 I've only just discovered BABYMETAL, I love metal/rock and some pop so this ticks all my boxes, yes there is some/all miming by YUIMETAL and MOAMETAL maybe SU-METAL as well, I doubt any artists could perform the high energy concerts and sing live. The concerts are great, picture, sound all top quality. Well worth the price, LONG LIVE BABYMETAL!!!
Honestly bought this because it wasn't too expensive and I've always liked the band, I was pleasantly surprised to see just how good both shows included on the Blu ray actually are. Very impressive, and definitely worth picking up if you're BabyMetal fan.
As a grizzled veteran of heavy rock, metal and prog now in my mid-50's, what can I say.......? I ordered this and their two albums and have been playing them near continuously. My son had seen them at Download in 2016 and had raved about them. As a concept I thought it all looked faintly ridiculous and I guess it would be if these girls were British or American or..... just about any other nationality! There is just something about their very "Japaneseness" that allows it to all work so brilliantly. The songs are just fantastic played with consummate skill and verve by the Kami Band – these are musicians of the highest calibre, make no mistake. What elevates it all, to some considerable height, are the vocals - the girl Suzuka can belt it all out with the best of them. I watched the Bluray with a permanent grin on my face - the singing, dancing, playing and stagemanship of the whole troupe are completely exemplary. What delights me most of all is the fact that the producer(s) behind it all have completely (and SO rightly) avoided any temptation to sexualise these girls. That would be a HUGE mistake and turn a very delightful experience into something very creepy and somewhat sinister. Buy everything you can by Babymetal - if you don't love every minute I suspec
