We are sending this email to update you on some important changes with VeohTV. As you may know, we recently released the Veoh Web Player. Based on the extremely positive feedback we've received about the Veoh Web Player from our users, we've decided to make it the official player that will be used for viewing full-length videos on Veoh.
Why the Veoh Web Player? Since the launch of VeohTV beta last year, we've spent a lot of time listening to you and learning about what you want and don't want when you're watching videos on Veoh. Many of you told us that you love watching full-length videos and movies, but you don't like having to launch a separate application in order to do that. To address this, we integrated the best of VeohTV into the Veoh.com experience through the Veoh Web Player.
There are many great reasons to use the Veoh Web Player:
It makes it easier to watch videos on Veoh. You can now watch videos of any length right in your browser without launching a separate application. It's a lighter application with a faster installation than VeohTV. So, you can watch full-length videos without consuming a lot of your computer's resources. You still have a video library that lets you manage your downloaded videos and watch them even when you're not connected. If you haven't had a chance to try the Veoh Web Player, you can download it here.
What will happen to VeohTV? Over the next month, we will be transitioning away from supporting VeohTV. There are several important changes that we want to highlight:
The Channel Guide and Search function will be disabled in the next few weeks. Shortly thereafter, when visiting Veoh.com you will only be able to download videos to the Veoh Web Player. Veoh.com gives you access to a greater variety of content than you had with VeohTV. Not only can you find and watch videos from YouTube, Hulu, CBS and Veoh, you now have access to videos from ABC, Warner Brothers and Sony BMG. The publish function will still be available in the near term. We are working on a standalone publishing application that will make it easier and more efficient to publish on Veoh.com. We will keep you posted on its progress. We're confident the Veoh Web Player offers a better viewing experience for our users. Thanks to all of you who tested the Web Player in Veoh Labs and have used it since its Beta release. Your input helps us make Veoh better for everyone!

Publishing Videos Using VeohTV Publishing videos using VeohTV will still be available in the short term. We're currently working on a standalone publishing application that will make it easier to publish videos to Veoh.com.
The Veoh Web Player enables you to watch videos of any length right in your browser without launching a separate application. You can download videos for later viewing, even when you're not connected to the Internet. The Web Player also consumes fewer system resources than VeohTV.
We're confident the Veoh Web Player offers a better viewing experience for our users. If you haven't had a chance to try it, you can download it here.

Improve your Google search results with videos from Veoh We just released a video search add-on that surfaces related videos and search terms from Veoh when you search on Google, Yahoo, and YouTube. Now, every time you do a search, you also get related videos from Veoh. If you see a video you want to watch, you can play it without leaving your search results page.
Our suggestions are based on the search behavior of millions of Veoh users, and their many millions of searches and video views. So, you can enhance your search results from the perspective of fellow video lovers and discover videos in the process!
To install the add-on visit Veoh Labs and follow the simple instructions. This release of the add-on only supports Mozilla Firefox. We're currently working on an Internet Explorer version so stay tuned.

Take Veoh on the Go! We just announced the release of the Veoh Web Player for SanDisk, a portable video player that is available on SanDisk Cruzer USB flash drives. The Veoh Web Player for SanDisk enables users to browse, search, and enjoy the millions of videos available through Veoh.com on any PC at any time - whether or not there's an Internet connection.
VeohTV→Veoh Web Playerに乗換えたが、 DLリストを大量登録した後、削除されやすそうな動画を優先させる為に順番を色々変更するのだが、 ShiftやCtrlで複数選択したりCtrl+X,Ctrl+Vなどはできないので、 表示頁外の最上部等へドラッグ＆ドロップする時にはスムーズスクロール(スクロールボタン)を使用していたのだが、 今回の乗換えでできなくなってしまった。
