D. KNOWN ISSUES IN THIS RELEASE ================================ 1. The Boot-Time Defragmentation and Frag Shield dialogs have not yet been updated to reflect the new console style. 2. Group policy support has not yet been implemented for I-FAAST. 3. Not all message dialogs have been updated to reflect the new console style. 4. The I-FAAST engines do not yet support the "Efficiently defragment large files" option. 5. An access violation can occur when restoring a volume while Diskeeper is running. 6. The Set System Options (VSS Shadow Copy) option is currently
visible in all x64 versions of Diskeeper, although this feature is only available on Diskeeper Server Edition running on Windows Server 2003. 7. The x64 versions of Diskeeper cannot currently be managed by Diskeeper Administrator.
8. Diskeeper analysis is not currently supported on 8 TB or larger volumes with a cluster size of 4 KB or smaller. Displaying the Volume Map graphic on a volume this size is very resource-intensive and is thus not currently supported in this release. Note that you can still defragment these volumes. 9. If you install a full or upgrade version of Diskeeper and choose the "Register Later" option during the installation, a shortcut is added to the Start Menu | Startup folder. This shortcut will automatically be removed if the registration process is later completed, or if you choose the "Never Register" option. If however, you uninstall Diskeeper before this shortcut is removed, it will not be removed by the uninstall procedure, and rebooting the computer or clicking the shortcut will result in an error message indicating the "ESIRegister.exe" file cannot be found. This shortcut can safely be manually deleted. Note that you can always register Diskeeper via the Diskeeper Corporation website at www.diskeeper.com/register. 10. Some of the Diskeeper installation dialogs do not display correctly on computers using the High Contrast Black display setting under the Windows Accessibility Options. Note, however, the Diskeeper console does display correctly on these computers.
