Massive Protest Against Excessive Koreanized Broadcasting - Tokyo
More than 6,000 Japanese people gathered in Odaiba, Tokyo on August 21, 2011 to protest against the Fuji TV's excessive Koreanized broadcasting over recent years.
Fuji Television Network Inc. aka Fuji TV or Channel 8 is one of the major TV broadcasting organizations in Japan. It was 7 or 8 years ago when a made up Korea boom started among Japanese broadcasting organizations and the inclination has been escalated year by year. Now many Japanese people have come to believe that especially Fuji TV has gone too far on its Korea propaganda. Some people point out that it is for their main Korean share holders. They have made so many Japanese viewers feel not only uncomfortable but very angry with the way they emphasize too much on Korean cultures against the viewer's demand and diminish Japanese ones.
Look at the massive number of people protesting on the clip. Most of them are just ordinary people, who turned up from nowhere to join the protest to retain the Japanese TV programs!
