This email is applicable to only VPS server customers.
We are sending this notification as few of customers have reported they did not receive any notification of hypervm being taken offline.
Due to few critical security issues with the HyperVM, we have decided to revoke public access to the system in future. This may be enabled again but at this time it is offline, and will remian offline. This is preventive action in order to ensure that no data is compromised on vps on either of the servers.
We would also like to notify that few security holes have been made public for LxAdmin/Kloxo platform which posses huge security risk if it is kept online publicly. We request all users to pull down their kloxo/lxadmin instaces using the following commands in SSH: service lxadmin stop service kloxo stop chkconfig kloxo off chkconfig lxadmin off
Meanwhile, if you want a OS reload, reboot etc. please open a support ticket. Due to the number of tickets we have been receiving, we ask you tobe fair at this time as each and every reload is being done manually.
