- though i recommend the primer of the C++, you can use other languege for game development.
for example, C# which i use it can be used for game development without using pointer(but for windows , however, it wont work)
additionally, there is sites for C# beginners, so the primer is not necessary.
because there was a lot of program which doesnt work in site for beginners, you had better use the primer.
