livejupiter wasn't designed for baseball at first but the users changed it so and became one of the most active board in 2ch, creating its own cultureンゴ and leaving livebase behind. it was user-generated phenomenon, a kind of miracle.
Considering the popularity of soccer in Japan and mnewsplus, I think soccer version of livejupiter can be more active than (baseball) livejupiter and livefoot, but I don't know how we can make that happen. We cannot make it by simply creating livemercury or by simply calling users to livefoot. All we can do is to prepare the places so that some miracle can happen.
By the way it's sad to tell it but renewed wildplus seems to fail to attract baseball habitant. Baseball threads stay quite unpopular there. Maybe the board would work better if we redefine it simply as an all-genre social news board freer than newsplus (and prepare another chance for miracles.)
