Glad to find this monologue thread still exist. It's been a while since I left the 2ch English board, after having experienced a lot of exchange here -- questions and answers, swearing, abusing, banters. But basically I'm a monologue person, not a chat or dialogue person, so I liked this thread. Hope guys, those half-witted English otakus, are making the board busy and active still today.

Generally speaking, the older we get, the more conservative we become. And so do I. As for my job, there are two ways ahead of me now and I can't decide which one I should choose.
i am little tired today, because i studied hard and did a part-time job.
i worked at cake shop.few customer came today,so i talked with a collague.since i am concerned about reading i talked about a book which i have read recently.the title of that is "perfume".
On Aug 9th, I returned Japan. I had been away from Japan for two years. My family met me at the Narita airport with kisses and tears. They had missed me very much as I had missed them. I was very happy to see them again. When I got the chance, I took a long look at them. My younger brother Ken was no longer litte. He had grown up a lot. He was almost as tall as my boy friend, Adam in U.S. The youngest sister was wearing a pink dress. She had changed quite a bit, too, but she was still mischievous and inquistive. My dad had gained some weight, and his hair had turned grayer. My mom looked a little tired, but otherwise she was just as same as I had remembered her. She was pretty as always.

Korean guys are so wonderful that all the girls on the planet can't take their eyes of off them. I don't know exactly when Korean Wave started, but surely it was accepted all around Asia at first. And I hear one of the biggest consumers of the Korean Wave stuff is Japanese. Japanese girls are also mesmerised with Korean guys a lot. Japanese girls want to marry Korean guys and that's why they travel to Korea to find a Korean boyfriend. Korean guys are quite popular in China as well. But the biggest change that's happened lately was that Korean guys were successful in drawing attention from white girls. Yes, a ridicurously large number of white girls, such as in Europe and America, have a great interest in Korean guys now, because Korean guys are super cool with a golden heart. Girls in general can't help but have interest in Korean guys. I understand that. But there's more to it than having just interest for many of such girls. A lot of girls who are interested in Korean guys these days go so far as to say they wanna marry a Korean guy since they look good and well-off. I'm proud of it. ^_^

It took me by surprise that a lot of girls all around the world love Korean guys more than their own men, saying Korean guys look attractive, adorable, hot, and so on. The world finally noticed how impressive and excelent Korean guys are. Yes, Korean guys are surely so. I know that quite well. lol On top of that, Korean high-tech gadgets are selling well all around the world, especially in America, you know. America is one of the most advanced nations like Korea. Naturally they love Korean stuff a lot. I'm sure they can't live a day without Korean products. Korea has great influence now. I guess the image on Korea and Korean guys is quite affirmative everywhere. That's why the popularity of Korean guys has been skyrocketing for the past several years. I'm proud of it.

Hah? Segregationist? Don't you think you are going too far? From which part of my post did you think of me as a segregationist? I admit that I don't like Koreans but all of what I said were based on obvious facts.
The Korean wave or Korea fever refers to the surge of popularity of South Korean culture around the world since the 21st century, especially among the Millennial Generation. While popular throughout the Asian continent, its influence is strongest in East Asia, especially dominant in China, Japan and Southeast Asia, spreading to India,[2] the Middle East,[3] Central Asia,[4] Iran,[5] Israel,[6] Turkey[7] and Russia.[8] The Korean wave is rapidly expanding beyond Asia and has a substantial presence in North, Central and South America, particularly in Mexico and Argentina,[9] and is increasingly becoming popular in the United States.[10] It is also gaining momentum in Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, led by Hungary[11] and Norway.[12] It is gathering positive interest in North Africa, attracting a sizable niche audience in Egypt.[13] Currently, the Korean wave is starting to hit the shores of the UK[14] and Australia.[15] South Korea is one of the world's top ten cultural exporters[16] and the Korean wave began with the export of Korean TV dramas such as Autumn Fairy Tale, Winter Sonata, Dae Jang Geum (Jewel in the Palace) and more recently Boys Over Flowers across East and Southeast Asia; the growing success of Korean dramas was soon matched by Korean movies, popular music, food[17] and language.[18] The term has now become an acronym referring to South Korea's growing economic power and the rise of global multinationals such as Samsung, LG and Hyundai-Kia. It is also referred to as "Hallyu" (Hangul: 한류; Hanja: 韓流; RR: Hallyu), from the Korean pronunciation. The term was coined in China in mid-1999 by Beijing journalists surprised by the fast growing popularity of South Koreans and South Korean goods in China.
There is those who like Korian topics. Although They write messages in a few threads, Why does they like Korian topics? I guess that they want to compare Japan with Korea, and that they want to prove a good country than Korea. But, Whether or not they prove it, Japanese has good futures. For example, we have recovered rapidly from a low state after the WWII, although present Japan stay in a not good state. Especially, accuracy of Japanese people was best of the world. I am sad about recent Japanese people is losing its future gradually. And also its comparation indicates that its people has not pride.
It is difficult to translate Japanese to English, and vice versa. But, many Japanese tends to do it. This is a problem that English learnners feel difficult out of part of learning English because translation skills differ from learning English. Whereas we need to learn English using the first language, Japanese, at the early stage, we do not need to use Japanese at the next stage. Perpahs, many Japanese might have been staying at the early stage.
I do not know about the solution how to go up the next stage.
Today' issue associates with .... nothing.... I have no idea but I try to train writing English hardly. Tsuyu , which is the rainy season from June to July, has come in Japan. I hate the season. I like dry seasons but Japan has no dry seasons except for Hokkaido.
I want to train a part of English usage, for instance "in which" adn "for which". Perhaps I understand the usage a little. It is a problem for reading and writing English. The usage does not use speaking and listening English but use on documents written by formal English. Therefore I understand this exactly. In particular of I feel I do not understand it when I read documents contains the usage. Now, I have been tring to write messages in English a little hardly. :-)
I think Japanese try so hard to learn English. But they don't seem to succeed in getting the skill. One reason may be that they immerse themselves into the technicallity of the language too much. They must first understand the basics such as the difference between "hard" and "hardly". Another thing is that when trying to express something in English, they think it in a very difficult or complicated way. I suggest, keep it simple.

I've been absorbed in browsing around various moving images in Youtube lately. I like listening to classical guitar music and one of my guitar players is Muraji Kaori. The other day,I chanced upon a fantastic tune titled Tango en skai when enjoying her clips. Her performance was good enough to make me feel happy. But to my surprise, some listeners thought of it as no-good, which motivated me to look for the composer's performance. Indeed, his guitar skills were better than hers, which convinced me that their evaluation of her playing was reasonable. Still, I like Tango en skai played by Muraji Kaori best of all.
