Yes! It's from Nobuta. You are correct that most Americans don't have
Japanese tastes, but for some reason, I seem to think a lot like the
Japanese... That's mostly why I am so drawn to Japan. ^_~

I loved Nobuta wo Produce. Lately, I've been watching Kurosagi. Have
you seen it? The two stars are Yamashita Tomohisa and Horikita Maki,
the same people from Nobuta. I wonder if they have a romance in real
life...
