QtはTrollTechが作成したC++ベースのGUI toolkitで、 
OS間の差異を意識せず開発できるように作られたライブラリ群です 
 
GUIだけではなく、ネットワーク、マルチスレッド、グラフィック(OpenGL)や 
各種コンテナ、XMLパーサーなど豊富なライブラリを持ちます 
 
Win, Linux, Mac版があり、10月26日現在でQt4.0.1 
有料版・無料版(Open Source Edition)とあり、無料版はGPL
