Here is historical account. Comfort women issue is not a single issue but issue that extends over 20 years.
At beginning, comfort women plan by Japan was a good idea to keep soldiers from possible illness and other forms of problems. Indeed most initial comfort women were Japanese and Korean prostitutes who were paid great amount of money.
however as battle became fearce and many real prostitutes were killed by illness or enemies or suicidal imperial soldiers.
lled by tropical illness, sexual diseases and enemy attacks.
