未読の背景の色を変更するならこういうのとか

　 background-color: #fff !important;
}
#threadTree treechildren::-moz-tree-cell(unread) {
　 background-color: #fcc !important;
}

StylishかuserChrome.cssに上記のコードを記述すればよい。
