I am not completely sure how $extract_art works (I could not find English documentation on it).
From what I could tell, it may not work easily because foo_prettypop does not want an extension for the filename and absolute filenames need a “|” placed in the front of it.

If it returns a relative path to artwork, you should be able to get it to work by stripping out the extension (use other titleformatting for that)

If it returns an absolute path to artwork, you could strip the extension and be sure to place the | before $extract_art

Sorry I can’t help more, I do not understand how that function works.
But I think you should be able to do it after figuring out exactly what $extract_art returns and making it fit what foo_prettypop expects.
