で、
$ scanimage -L
とすると

check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the

となります。

たしか sane.d/ 以下の conf ファイルをいじればよかった気がするので、plustek.conf を

[usb]0x04a9 0x2206
device auto

と書き換えてみたのですが、変わりません。

以前はこんなに苦労しないですぐに使えたので、どこに不具合があるのかわからないのですが、どうぞご教示お願いいたします。
