sudo dd if=/dev/sda of=~/sda.backup.part.dd bs=512 skip=5 conv=sync,noerror
This only skip head 5 blocks.

Maybe, the SD media broken phisically.
Check which blocks are broken, use "skip" or "count" option of "dd".

Let's google "dd_rescue", this tool can take images from disk by backword block seek.
Take efforts. Don't give up.
