こちら(Ubuntu 9.10)では ext4の不具合が解消されてるらしい。

結論としてはxfs最高ってことでいい？

同じような試験を手元でやったけど、 
bonnie++で結果が出ないことはザラにあった。 
 
ext4に限らないが、当時のext4+bonnie++ではダメだった記憶がある。 
OSフリーズはしなかったが。

ちょっと古い情報かもしれないけど、 
なんとなくext3より快適な気がする程度で使ってたxfsだが 
激しく一長一短でそれを踏まえて全体的に高評価されてるってこと？
