in octave 3.2.x ... This uses the stem series objects supported in
Octave 3.2.x and described in the section
Plotting -> Advanced Plotting -> Object Groups -> Stem Series
of the manual

その通りにやるとだめで，
x = 1:10;
y = ones (1, length (x))*2.*x;
h = stem(x,y);
set(h, 'marker','x');
set(h, 'marker','*');
で確認できました。

I have confirmed on tbe 3.2.3rc-3.
上ののパッチはスクリプトファイルのものなので，patchコマンドをつかうか，
パッチをよく見てスクリプトを編集すればフックスできます。

- Octave 3.2.3がリリースされました。
今回かなりバグフィックスが進みました。

まだ，ソースのみのリリースですので各バイナリが出るのは少し時間がかかると思います。 ソースからビルドする方には，3.2.3に乗り換えがお勧めといえます。
