Have you ever heard of "e-sports"? It refers to games where many people can play online at the same time.
Technically speaking, it's not a sport but game.
It's become more popular than ever, to the point of a large number of people around the world taking part; approximately 100 million.
Meanwhile, WHO has admitted that addiction to online gaming is a sort of disease, and warned the current situation has become very serious.
Despite this, many companies and organizers call it "sports", which sounds better, in an attempt to attract more people for the benefit.
