以下の文をお願いします。長いので分けます。一応、英語に訳しましたが、ベターな表現があれば知恵を貸してください。よろしくお願いします。
忖度は伝統的なことばの一つです。中国古代の『詩経』にも出てくるので、『昔から使われていることば』と表現するのが最も妥当です。日本にも10世紀から例がありますが、それ以前に中国から入って来たものでしょう。
Sontaku is one of the orthodox words.
Since you can find it on an ancient historical chinese text as ”the Shijing” or ”Classic of Poetry”, it should be more appropriate to put it as ”a word that had long been used for ages.”
There is also some use in Japan as early as 10 A.D., so it must had been passed down from China.
