Korean Air Has Biggest Loss in 10 Years on Fuel Costs, Currency

Nov. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Korean Air Lines Co., South Korea's largest carrier,
posted its biggest loss in 10 years as it paid more for fuel and a weak won
inflated foreign-denominated debt.
The Seoul-based carrier had a loss of 684.1 billion won ($493 million)
in the three months ended September, compared with net income of 129.6 billion won a year ago,
Korean Air said in an e-mailed statement today. Sales rose 16 percent to 2.76 trillion won.
